We are seeking a Pharmacy System Trainers for an upcoming roll-out across the UK. We require trainers in the regions of:

London, Basingstoke, Newport, Bristol, Nottingham, Birmingham. (but we are flexible)

My client is a dynamic supplier of Electronic Point of Sale (EPoS) and Patient Medication Record (PMR) Prescription and dispensing systems into the independent and corporate pharmacy sector.

The responsibilities in the role:

We are currently seeking to recruit a roll-out team of Pharmacy Systems Trainers to assist with the implementation of our systems into a large customer group of UK Nationwide pharmacies. You will spend 2 days on each site training the users on the new pharmacy systems.

The skills and experience required:

We are seeking candidates with a pharmacy dispensing experience, to train the new customers on our Integrated Pharmacy System that combines PMR and EPoS functionality on all terminals within the pharmacy.

Whilst computer expertise is not essential a bright outgoing personality and flexibility is. This is a Fixed Term Contract (TFC) working from home and requires the candidate to manage their own workload to meet our commitment to customer training.

The role involves travelling to customer sites and as the roll-out is nationwide it is likely there will be frequent overnight stays that will be required. Flexibility to stay overnight is essential. A full clean driving licence is also essential.

We require you to use your own car for business use - mileage would be paid at the current Inland Revenue rates.

 ·         Salary: is Negotiable (pro/rata) + end of contract bonus. + travel expenses, meals, overnight allowances, +12.5 days holiday leave

·         Start Date: 01 July 2024

·         End Date: Mid- December 2024

·         Work Pattern: based on a 2-Day training delivery and 2-week training cycles:

·         Week 1 = 1 day off, 4 days onsite. Week 2= 3 days off, 2 days delivery: Average weekly hours = 36

Roll-Out Schedule:   

1.    1st Phase = Onboarding, in-house training and shadowing a trainer.

2.    2nd phase = full time implementation phase.

3.      3rd phase = final stages of implementation and customer support.
