3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer
Chorley | Up to £45,000 + Benefits
We're looking for an experienced 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing internal IT team in Chorley.
This is a hands-on role supporting and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure while acting as the technical escalation point for complex issues. You'll also play a key role in delivering infrastructure projects and helping to improve Microsoft technologies across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide 3rd Line support across servers, networks and Microsoft technologies
- Support Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure and Active Directory
- Administer VMware/Hyper-V environments
- Support networking, backups and disaster recovery
- Deliver infrastructure upgrades and technology projects
- Maintain technical documentation and identify service improvements
About You
You'll have experience with:
- Windows Server
- Microsoft 365
- Azure & Entra ID
- Active Directory & Group Policy
- VMware or Hyper-V
- Networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
