My IT services client (MSP) is currently seeking to recruit a Sales Development Executive to join their busy operation in Rawtenstall Lancashire.

You'll be expected to sell the products and services of the company you work for by calling prospective clients and generating leads for our field based sales and account management team. You may also be carrying out market research, so you won't necessarily be stuck to the phone.

We are seeking an experienced sales person who is able to self generating business leads and has good communication skills.

This role is initially office based working as part of a team, but following a successful introduction may evolve into a hybrid working opportunity with some time spent working from home.

We can offer: Full or Part-time hours + commission

The business operating hours are 8-5, Monday – Friday. Whilst the role is aimed at 9-5, part time hours would be considered for the right candidate.

 

Duties and responsibilities of the Sales Development Executive include

  • Making outbound calls to prospective clients
  • Generating new business leads / opportunities via a range of channels e.g. cold calling/telesales, business networking, social media, collaboration to develop referral opportunities
  • Promoting innovative solutions and generating interest in Telecoms and IT services
  • Developing a strong sales pipeline and schedule appointments for the field sales team
  • Handling objections by being creative and adapting to your audience
  • Meeting or exceeding targets and join incentives
  • Working as part of a wider team

The skills and Experience we seek from the Sales Development Executive are:

  • Previous outbound B2B phone based sales experience
  • Telecoms and/or IT services lead generation background is essential
  • Be a clear and confident communicator, someone who can cold call prospects confidently
  • Time management skills will be essential to ensuring they make the most of the time available and take ownership for results
  • High energy, competitive and positive attitude
  • Customer focused, driven and ambitious
  • Confident communicator
